Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. The SCM Manager will oversee the procurement of raw materials for production, coordinate the movement of goods from contract manufacturers to customers, and manage inventory and a vast network of suppliers. The SCM Manager is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management and demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills and a desire for innovation and transformation.


The SCM Manager will collaborate closely with the Operations Director to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction while ensuring high-quality materials for the company.

  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through punctual deliveries.
  • Safeguard company image and reliability.
  • Cultivate supply chain practices that facilitate growth.
  • Provide comprehensive employee training, emphasizing adherence to guidelines and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Scrutinize shipping and delivery data to identify opportunities for optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and track Inventory to guarantee precision.
  • Strategize production and assure adequate materials.
  • Administer obsolescence.
  • Facilitate and oversee stocktaking activities.
  • Oversee shipping logistics.
  • Track and generate reports on operational performance
  • Resolve operational complications
  • Liaise with stakeholders

Qualifications

  • A degree or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or business management with a minimum of 5 years in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management within a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning
  • Exceptional analytical and negotiation abilities
  • Proven leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to communicate effectively
  • Organized, efficient, and results-oriented.
  • Excels under pressure and adeptly manages stressful situations

Screening

Applications are shortlisted and reviewed. Suitable candidates undergo a brief phone screening to discuss their background, experiences, and career goals. This step ensures compatibility with our development orientation and culture. Screening calls typically occur 5-7 days after application submission. 

Technical Interview

Shortlisted candidates are invited for technical interviews, either in person or online. Applicants in Singapore may need to complete an Application Form before the interview. During the technical interview, candidates demonstrate their expertise, professional background, and problem-solving abilities. The interview lasts 1 to 1.5 hours. 

Culture-Fit Interview

Following the technical interview, candidates proceed to the culture-fit interview round, which focuses on alignment with our cultural values. This stage involves behavioral questions and lasts about 30 minutes. 

* Reference Check

Reference checks are conducted for security-related roles only. The team uses 1 to 3 contact details provided by the candidate, and the outcomes serve as references in the decision-making process. 

Final Decision

The team evaluates the applicant based on all information gathered. Candidates are informed of the results within 7 days after the final round, except in special cases. If not chosen, your information will be retained for 6 months for potential future opportunities. All applicants will receive a thank-you email acknowledging their interest and effort.
